GalaxySky has 30 years of experience in the field of reserve parachutes for ultralights, recreational aviation, drones and experimental aircraft. Galaxy GRS is considered the first and largest European manufacturer of reserve parachutes.
The Galaxy GBS 10/150 parachute is a pyrotechnic extraction reserve parachute for drones weighing 5 to 15 kg. This opening method is very effective since it allows opening at low height (only 5-8 meters minimum) in record time (less than a second).
This pyrotechnic extraction parachute system often takes a long time to re-arm once triggered. This is why Galaxy GRS has worked on a simple and rapid system for reloading the GBS 10/150 reserve parachute.
Automatic engine cut-off
A circuit breaker system is provided with the GBS 10/150 parachute to prevent any unintentional triggering of the pyrotechnic system during installation, transport or handling. It will also prevent your drone from taking off if the safety pin is still in place on your drone to avoid unpleasant surprises when you need the parachute. A buzzer and an LED will also inform you of the status of the parachute in order to take off as serenely as possible for a safe flight.
Universal backup system
This GBS 10/150 reserve parachute is compatible with all flight controllers and electronics of your drone. You can install it on various drone configurations whose weight will be between 5 and 15 kg. A motor cut-off system is activated when the parachute opens.
Overview
This reserve parachute is the most efficient on the market thanks to its pyrotechnic extraction system allowing an ultra-fast opening and an opening at a very low height. The long experience of the manufacturer Galaxy GRS in the field of pyrotechnic extraction reserve parachutes for manned aircraft is a guarantee of reliability and undeniable safety for your professional configurations.
