DJI Dock 2 is a smaller and lighter rugged drone docking station which can deploy two purpose-built DJI Enterprise drones, Matrice 3D or 3TD, with ease and security. Dock 2 offers high-level operational capabilities despite its size and weight. Built to perform safely and efficiently even in harsh weather conditions and harnessing cloud-based intelligent features, including seamless link with DJI FlightHub 2, DJI Dock 2 can enhance the efficiency of drone operations.

DJI Dock 2 Product Overview

DJI Dock 2 is a purpose-built drone docking station for automatic operations. Smaller and lighter than it's predecessor, the original DJI Dock, Dock 2 can be set up in minutes and can improve access to environments and locations which were previously difficult to reach.

Dock 2 is a highly effective way to undertake drone operations to ensure that human resource is being used efficiently. Because of its compact size and lightweight build, maintenance costs are low and transportation is easy, allowing businesses to allocate their resources elsewhere. Because of Dock 2’s quick set up, tasks can be completed faster throughout the day for an overall smoother operation.

Efficient site evaluation

Before a mission starts, the aircraft uses vision sensors to quickly assess the surrounding environment to check that it has strong GNSS signals. Vision-based evaluation like this hugely accelerates the site selection process, reducing the required time from around 5 hours to 12 minutes or less!
