Dronetag Scout is an advanced, fixed Remote ID receiver tailored for enthusiasts, professionals, law enforcement, and infrastructure managers. It delivers reliable, long-distance drone detection up to 25km, making it perfect for extensive airspace surveillance near critical infrastructure like airports, sensitive sites, secure locations, or urban environments.

Multiple independent radios continuously receive Remote ID signals, enabling detection of drones, their pilots (or take-off position), and even identifying the drone’s manufacturer and model. This data equips you to take swift decisive action against potential threats, ensuring safety of your airspace.
Monitor drone activities through the Dronetag App, available on Android, iOS, and web browser, or integrate seamlessly with third-party systems using our API. Historical data is stored for post-incident analysis, and users can set up geofencing alerts to be notified of unauthorised drones
Deploy Scout at any location with pole or wall mounting options. It supports PoE for streamlined power and connectivity and can optionally include 4G connectivity for added flexibility. As a passive receiver, it does not create any interference with existing installations
Designed for reliability, Scout features an IP67-rated aluminium enclosure and built-in heating to ensure consistent performance in harsh environmental conditions.
Dronetag Scout detects all Remote ID-equipped drones compliant with FAA, EASA, and MLIT standards. The system is designed to detect unauthorised drone activities, including unintentional breaches and low-sophistication criminal operations.
In its Baseline Configuration, Scout is equipped with two omnidirectional antennas: one for receiving Remote ID signals on 2.4 GHz, and a dual-band antenna capable of detecting signals on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.
This setup can be expanded with directional antennas designed for improved performance in complex environments such as urban areas. Directional antennas have a 90° beamwidth and allow for more reliable long-range detection. Customers can choose to add between one and four directional antennas.
Visualise, store and export real-time aircraft data such as position, height, and speed via our multi-platform app Drone Scanner for Android and iOS.
Designed with pilots, operators and a multitude of use cases in mind all solutions are compact, utilitarian and extremely easy to use. Our future-proof offering is durable enough for use by the defense sector and public safety units yet intuitively designed for businesses and hobbyists with a range of skill sets. Straightforward UX makes Dronetag the solution of choice for seamless, hassle-free flight across the entire industry.
