SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping:

We ship orders using Royal Mail and FedEx and a number of other services at this time. We will not be liable for orders that go missing in the mail unless they are insured and can be tracked. If you do not agree with this policy, you should NOT place your order.

TBE delivers to the UK and EU using Royal Mail shipping; there are options to use FedEx shipping for many of the EU and worldwide countries which offer an "express" service.

Pre Orders:

When an order is placed with parts which are either on pre order or there is not enough stock at the time of order, the complete order will be held until all the parts required have come into stock to be shipped. If you would like the order to come in two shipments please place the order for the items that are in stock on another order to prevent any delays.

Free delivery on orders over £100:

Free delivery is for UK customers only and is limited to a max weight of 750 grams, if your order is more than this weight you will be contacted, please note free shipping is only a sign for only service, insurance will only cover the first £41 of your order if it is damaged or lost.

 

Please note that there are a few products in the store that do not have free shipping on them at this time this includes but is not limited to the RC Radios and airframes due to weight and value.

Special Delivery:

Traceable and insured up to £500, in most cases (Royal Mail guaranteed, please see the notes below on next day) next day delivery to anywhere in the UK by 13:00.

Sign for only service:

This service only offers insurance up to £41 in case of damaged or missing parcels, all free shipping items are sent signed for 1st class mail.

International Signed For:

Is only able to be tracked while in the UK, Insured for up to £500, same delivery speed as Airmail.

International delivery not tracked or insured:

This service is not insured or tracked, it is recommended for only very low value items.

FedEx / other service:

FedEx shipping is our worldwide shipping partner, we use them to ship to any part of the world, and rates are on request if your city is not listed at checkout. Please contact us with your order details. Shipping to the states with FedEx is an express service taking as little as three days.

Next Day Delivery:

This service is for the UK only, EU customer please note shipping is not next day delivery please allow 96 hours from time of order.

 

Please note: Royal Mail Special Delivery provide the insurance cover to protect your purchases, we cannot guarantee Special Deliveries will arrive on the next working day. Royal Mail makes this commitment. If the Special Delivery order has not arrived before 1pm on the next working day, we will not refund you postage charges.

 

The only time we will refund postage is when the whole order has gone missing, in this instance the refund will be made as part of the complete value of your order via Royal Mails Insurance cover.

How to Pay for Your Orders:

We use Pay Pal, as it is the easy, safe and a fast way to move money around the web. With Pay Pal you can use your credit card, debit card or bank account to move money onto your Pay Pal account. If you don't have a Pay Pal account you can set one up very easily at www.paypal.co.uk or you can use your debit / credit card.

Warranty Information:

All goods carry a standard warranty offered under UK law; the hardware we sell is tested before we receive it. Please note warranty only covers a manufacturing defect, not a fault caused by incorrect use or assembly. Please check your order as soon as you receive it, if there is any concerns please contact us.

How to make a return:

All returns must have a RMA Number. This will be issued via email; any items returned without a RMA number will not be accepted. To receive an RMA number please contact us with the full details of the hardware being used and the concern you have with it. Please make sure that your name, contact email and invoice number is in your RMA request. Please note we only cover faulty hardware, we do not offer any warranties on software used with or without hardware.

 

Returns for any unused and unopened hardware or cables will be permitted within a 7-day period from when you have taken receipt of the goods. After the 7 days, the sale is considered final. If you return any un-used and unopened incorrectly ordered parts after the 7 days has elapsed, these products will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

 

Goods that you return must be in the original sealed packaging and in the same condition as supplied, any returns which have been damaged, scratched, programmed, or used in anyway will not be accepted. The 20% restocking fee will be taken from the original sale, and you will be refunded the difference. You will need to apply for a RMA number before returning any goods, for any reason.

 

Please contact us to gain your RMA number. When returning any goods please include a full summary of why the goods needed to be returned. Once an RMA has been issued you will have 7 days in which to return your goods, please mark the RMA on the paperwork enclosed and on the box itself.

 

TBE is not responsible for the goods while in transit to us or the cost of postage to return the goods to us, please make sure you have taken all precautions to insure you against loss. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage in transit.

 

All our goods are checked during the QC process at the end of their manufacturing process before they are sent out. Any goods that are faulty must be returned, to TBE at the address listed on your invoice.

 

TBE will not accept goods that have clearly been used more than required to test their functionality. Any goods returned which are found to be in working condition / failed due to lack of knowledge or because the goods have been used in an environment or manor without the proper protection TBE will not issue a refund. In this event the goods can either be returned to the end user at their own expense or disposed of, the choice will be the end users.

 

Improper use of any hardware that results in local or international laws being broken, damage to you, your property or a third party, in no way will TBE be held liable for any these damages whatsoever (including without limitation, personal injury, damages relating to lost revenues or profits, lost data, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunctions).

 

All prices on The Bionic Eye are initially stated in GBP and whilst users are able to allow the prices to be reflected in other currencies all transactions will only accepted in GBP.

 

While we at try to ensure the information on this website is accurate, we cannot guarantee this website is free from errors or omissions.
